Raise S$10,000 for the Care for the Family Fund

n line with Love-Box commitments towards supporting charity organizations and protecting our loved ones, it will be collaborating with Action for AIDS (AfA) to support the Care for the Family Fund Programme.

The campaign will last for 3 months, commencing on 1st October and ending on 31st December 2008. During this period, S$0.50 will be pledged to Action for AIDS Care for the Family Fund from the sale of each tin of Love-Box. The funds raised will be used to assist families of persons with HIV infection, particularly those who have been severly financially affected and to provide funds for the children's school and transportation fees, etc.

Love-Box is currently available at all participating convenience stores, petrol kiosks, pharmacies, supermarkets and other leading retailing outlets.

Love - Box / WAO Anak Angkat Education Fund
Thank you Ms Ivy for the opportunity to work with WAO. A BIG welcome to members of the media ladies and gentlemen, and a big applause for everybody present!!

IF,  there is only one belief LEFT in this world , let that BELIEF be in our CHILDREN!! In order for that to materialise, let us provide the best that we can, and we deeply believe that, apart from tender loving care, the one way to achieve this belief is through better education.

The continous dedication and commitment of WAO in supporting single mother and their children in Malaysia requires no introduction. WAO's 25 years efforts derseves the utmost respect and admiration of the general public and all parties concerned. However, being a non profit organisation, it may sometimes prove to be a challenge for WAO to maintain and upkeep the daily operations of the center and also, to cope with the rising rate of inflation.

In recognition of that, WE, the Love-Box team fully understands and admire the contributions of WAO for all that they have done especially towards single mothers and their children here in Malaysia.

With that said, the Love-Box team takes great pleasure to announce yet another worthy cause in collaboration  with WAO - and with that, the WAO Anak Angkat Children Education Fund  is borned. And this is how it works, with every purchase of Love - Box at any retail outlets in M'sia, RM0.50 will be donated towards this worthy cause. This fund raising programme will commence on International Childrens' Day, which falls on 1st Oct 2008 and will be on for a duration of 3 months, ending 31st Dec 2008. Through this, WE, the dedicated team at Love- Box, with the help of the media sitting right infront of me,  we aim to raise  a minimum of RM20K for the
educational needs of these UNDER PRIVILGED and/ NEEDY Children.. At the end of the day, every single child is SPECIAL!!

With this initiative from Love-Box, and in line with the government's efforts for more caring and socially responsible organisations in Malaysia, Love-Box hopes to start the ball rolling and encourage more corporate organisations to come forward and support WAO in whatever ways possible, especially in the area of fund raising.
