The Love-Box project began in 2005 by graphic designer Charlotte Noergaard from Copenhagen. It started with an idea about making it socially acceptable especially among young people and young women in particular, to buy condoms without the embarrassment of buying and keeping the condoms.
Very soon Danish business men Claus Byrum and Lars Frederiksen were helping on developing the project and together the concept of 3 condoms in a small tin was developed.
In 2007 Henry Callaghan was presented the concept. Excited by the unique idea and approach, he committed himself to the brand as a partner, helping to bring the idea from the drawing board into the market.
All 4 participants today are engaged to take the brand Love-Box to a level of world-wide recognition, ensuring that the original idea set out by Charlotte Noergaard: “Help people to embrace safety, responsibility and education with style, enjoyment and fun, into their lives all mixed up in a small and beautiful thing called Love-Box”, will be carried through and lived by the Love-Box Company.
